Stories of Hospital and Camp was a series of letters written by Emily Elizabeth Parsons and her life in a hospital as a nurse. Several quotes were used in our project that were written by Ms. Parsons.

There were many facts in this book about medical treatment in the Civil War from surgeons about treatment. We used this to educate us about the Cvil War so we could write correct information about the Civil War.

Several books about the Civil War were checked out of AHEC's libary for our group to research. We used this as a primary source because the amount of medical supplies helped give an idea about the war's medical treatment.
Cunningham, Horace Herndon. Doctors in Gray; the Confederate Medical
Service. Baton Rouge: Louisiana State Univ., 1958. Print.
This book gave us the other side of the story about what it was like to be a doctor of the Confederate Army and the sickness and the wounds of the soldiers. We used this primary source in our website because it gave us insight of what happened to rebels and how life was different in the south.
